While many of you discount the value of the “RBI” stat, I don’t think anyone can trivialize the importance of the two out-RBI. While the concept of “clutch” hitting remains amorphous, one element to use in that measurement would be the performance of batters with two down.
In 2023, the MLB leader in two-out RBI was J.D. Martinez, the Dodgers DH playing in a platform season. Right behind him was Jonah Heim of the Texas Rangers, who proved to be a critical part of the puzzle that led Texas to their World Championship.
THERE WERE 15 PLAYERS IN 2023 WHO HAD 40+ TWO-OUT RBI
THERE WERE 18 PLAYERS WITH A MINIMUM OF 75 RBI FOR WHOM 40% OF THEIR RBI WERE WITH TWO OUTS
THERE WERE 18 PLAYERS IN 2023 WHO HAD 100 RBI

Billy, it is great to begin receiving your stuff again. A request / recommendation, if you don't mind. When you do tables such as these, could you include a first initial? Is "Lowe" Nathaniel, Josh, or Brandon?
Do these batters appear on the list year over year or is it a matter of luck?
