  1. The Colorado Rockies secured their first home series win of the season, snapping a 17-series winless streak dating back to 2024 (Sept. 16-18 vs. Arizona)

  2. Xander Bogaerts has been hot of late. Since June 15, he has been hitting .346 with a .940 OPS. During that stretch, he has hit .219 against lefties.

  3. We don’t emphasize pitchers’ wins anymore, but Freddy Peralta does lead the majors in that category with a 12-4 record. Peralta’s 12 wins tie him with his career high. He went 12-10 in 2023. The Brewers are 14-7 in his starts this season.

  4. The Mets are hitting .230 with runners in scoring position. I always speak about judging me by the company I keep; the only team with a lower BA than the Mets w/RISP are the Rockies and the White Sox, not the kind of company you wish to keep.

  5. Eight pitchers have at least 10 losses, but only one has an ERA under 5.00. Mitch Keller is 3-10 with a 3.48 ERA and a .237 BAA. The Bucs are 6-14 in his 20 starts, indicative of the 2.75 run support he receives. The 29-year-old righty is under team control through 2028.

  6. The Red Sox are 22-12 since adding Roman Anthony (6/9), 17-11 since the Rafael Devers trade (6/16), and 15-10 since sending down Kristian Campbell (6/19).

  7. When putting the first pitch of an at-bat in play, teams are hitting .339. But when putting the first pitch of an at bat in play with no one out, they are hitting .353. The two best hitting teams when putting the first pitch in play are the Phillies, hitting .394, and the Yankees, hitting .381.

  8. The Tigers ended their six-game losing streak and became the first team to reach 60 wins this season. The Tigers were also the first to the 55, 50, 40, and 30 win marks this season.

  9. Been there, done that. David Robertson is back for his 17th season and third stint in Philadelphia after signing a one-year, pro-rated contract with the Phillies. Robertson is 40 and previously pitched for the Phils in 2019 and back again in 2022. He clearly is on a three-year rotation with Philadelphia. Robertson had a 3-4 record with a 3.00 ERA and two saves for the Texas Rangers last season in 68 outings.
