We are about a quarter of the way through the season, and it’s a good time to take a look back and compare how some teams and some players are doing as compared to last season at the same time.

YANKEES THROUGH 41 GAMES

YANKEES BATTING WITH JUDGE, Juan Soto, AND Giancarlo Stanton vs. JUDGE AND COMPANY THROUGH 41 GAMES

Aaron Judge THROUGH 41 GAMES (WOW!)

Aaron Judge

THE DODGERS HAVE THE SAME RECORD AS LAST YEAR AFTER 41 GAMES

Despite not pitching as well.

And batting about the same.

Freddie Freeman THROUGH 30 GAMES PLAYED

Shohei Ohtani THROUGH 39 GAMES PLAYED

NEW YORK METS THROUGH 42 GAMES PLAYED

The pitching numbers tell all. You can see the ERA, but make sure you notice the walk differential.

Pete Alonso THROUGH 42 GAMES PLAYED (!)

DETROIT TIGERS THROUGH 42 GAMES PLAYED

Overall, the American League is kinda meh, but the Tigers are a very good team.

EVEN Javy Baez IS SHOWING SIGNS OF LIFE THROUGH 33 GAMES PLAYED

SAN DIEGO PADRES ARE COMPETITIVE AND FUN THROUGH 40 GAMES

Manny Machado BEING MACHADO THROUGH 40 GAMES PLAYED

Manny Machado
